Specter is back on Sound Signature to unleash what is nothing short of an absolute blinder of an album. The tight, rhythmic percussive opener 'What Else You Do' certainly grips the attention of the listener from the outset, whilst 'Tamarindo' is similarly constructed and no less potent. The Sistrum-esque 'Not New to This' is a stunningly woven house jam which cannot fail to satisfy the most ardent of Detroit house fans. Slightly more experimental and less dancefloor-orientated grooves are here too in the shape of 'Magnets on Wood' and '3000 Years', among others. All-in-all this is a stunning performance from beginning to end. If you are new to the sounds of Specter then this is a solid place to start one's journey of discovery. An Interstellar favourite!
