Frank Timm aka Soundhack dons his Sound Stream hat for more inimitable disco mixes, in the classic Berlin style that we’ve grown to love through his releases with his pal Erik as Smith N Hack, MMM etc. Two killer cuts here – fat, expertly produced disco nuggets you’re likely to hear. 'Love Jam' shows clear Detroit influences, reminding us of the more melodic Underground Resistance releases around the late 90’s area of the catalogue. Simple stabs are laid over funky but subtle guitar licks and an incessant synth line, but this simple formula is so much more when put together. Flip over for a straight laced, jamming disco-funk track, re-jigged for the dance floor with a wicked kick. Highly recommended!
