The fourth release from the Mighty Robots comes from Maarten van der Vleuten (Djax-Up-Beats, R&S, U-Trax, Signum) providing three tracks of excellence - two dark, haunting, electro cuts (if you're a fan of Electronome you'll appreciate these) and a slice of warped end-of-night madness. 'Eltec' is a pure Detroit techno tune with that exquisite Lowlands flavour as we know from other Dutch masters such as Erik Van Der Broek and Max 404. 'M&M2' (co-produced with Aardvarck) is a slow and moody piece with all-embracing spooky strings and strong, dark atmospherics… Van Der Vleuten at his very best. Rude 66 takes on the remix task and drops his 'GoreTex' version of 'Eltec' - throbbing Patrick Cowley bass, horror soundtrack melodies and vocoder chant all layered in that unique '66 style. Filthy discoid action that's been getting its fair share of airtime on I-F’s Cybernetic Broadcasting Station and definitely worth some time of your own.
