Superb EP from recording duo Red D & Core, 'Heritage' is a tasty African influenced piece featuring a stomping beat, Fender Rhodes chords and a wickedly funky organ solo. For an alternative twist check the aptly named 'Nightmare on Acid Dub', which takes the path towards the old Chicago warehouse days with its acid bass line and hey, wait, check that burbling, brooding 303 action, this is guaranteed to rock the old-skool crowd - spine tingling stuff! Flip over for a funky as f*** Fela Kuti-esque jam courtesy of label boss Scott Ferguson, all rounded off by a dream like techno mix provided by Silvio Manuel. A very strong EP to say the very least! Limited promo copies, not released until Winter 2005.
